Absolutely go to your physician if there is no improvement within that time frame...sooner if any symptoms worsen or you get new ones.
You mentioned a negative strep test and already being seen by your physician--were you prescribed antibiotics? If so, please check in and at least talk with the nurse. Many antibiotics are a major cause of yeast infections along with other side effects.
