I think it is the community....
To me, this community includes my peers....the people here are wonderfully supportive, not to mention everyone brings with them their own experiences and backgrounds which I think assists in the broad range of support that is offered here. 
The community also includes the Mods/Admin....they work really hard to keep PC safe for us all. I agree with some other posters that no one really likes rules that much, but these rules offer structure...and how many times have we all noticed in our lives that when there is a lack of structure, our lives seem more unbalanced, unstable, and chaotic, yet when that structure returns, our lives tend to balance out more. 
I think the format of the site is great and helps keep everyone organized....again, structure!! 
I just think that PC altogether is what makes PC great!!
