Yeah, I would side with Rhap on this one and say at least two weeks. Although the cure may work within seven days, it takes the vagina some time to rebalance itself. It probably would be very un-sexy if the smell was a little off or the consistency was off because of the yeast infection.

I agree that if you don't see improvement within 3 days, visit a doctor. There are many types of infection a girl can get down there, and some of them can cause nasty things like infertility if left to breed further. Thats not to scare you - thats just a worse case scenario, but definetly if you are still having problems see a doc.

The other thing is, you don't have to say "yeast infection" right out. You can just say something like you were at the doctor and you have a mild infection going on, so you want to wait so its healthy and perfect for both of you. It may be embarassing, but you want to be able to talk about this stuff if you are going to be having sex. And if hes a good guy, he may blush but he wont go running for the hills. If he does, then he wasnt worth it in the first place
