Sertraline is the drug name of zoloft, so it's probably generic. I'm on a generic form as well. The first month was awful!! I was going nuts, couldn't sleep, anxious as anything etc. BUT after sticking with it for several weeks, I noticed I'm feeling really good the side effects went away except my lack of appetite. At any rate, you start thinking or acting on impulses you normally wouldn't have, see your doctor right away or go to the ER if needed.
