The waiting must be horrible, a long stretch of nothing with a sad thing at the end of it that you don't want to go through in the first place.



You don't need to end this thread. If you want us to sit with you in silence while you wait, we will do that. If you want to talk more, you can come here and do that too. Whatever you need hon.

Mal prefers darkness to light, personally, but probably has different associations with these than you do. Of course if you see light as warmth and hope and kindness and friendship you will prefer it. But then you can walk up and into those things and Mal will tend your darkness for you if you like, and fill it with all the things Mal likes about darkness: safety, concealment, embracing, understanding, quiet, creativity, otherworldly allies, a place to be authentic where no one can see and criticize and slander and tell lies to make others hate you, etc. Then your light will be your light and your darkness will be a form of light too.
