Yes!! 
I have a couple alters that don't like to have information about our system given out. They constantly tell me to keep quiet, and if I start getting to close to really sensitive stuff, my 12 year old bully can get down right nasty...but that's part of her protective role; fight till the death and if you're gonna go down...go down fighting. 
This was really difficult for me when I first became aware of my alters, but it has eased some since then.
You're not alone in this!!
