I, too, will address just one issue this post:

Just because other family members are in or have come back into your life does not give them permission to change your lifestyle. Nor does it obligate you to change your life to accommodate them.

IF you were completely well it would be challenging at best, and a consideration.

Since you are needing so much time and security for your own health care, please do not even consider taking care of aging relatives. Even having them in your own home with someone else taking care of them 24/7 is just too stressful and upsetting. I'm sorry but you need support in this. They won't understand why you can't, and you may feel guilted into trying... but rely upon your support system and "just say no, thank you."

(Adults need to have made arrangements for themselves and not relied upon others to work things out. That is just selfish, imo. (And I don't use that word very often.))

YOU take care of YOU, especially during these stress-heightened times!
