If I went to a group, I would want to do one with a different therapist. I like having my T for individual therapy. But I could see learning some new things by doing a group with another T. I always wonder also, if there isn't a bit of a conflict of interest when therapists try to get clients to join their groups. If you don't feel comfortable doing group with your T, can you say no? What if you agreed with her that group therapy could be valuable and asked her for some recommendations for therapists who run groups?
