(((((((manda)))))), (((((((little manda))))))),

Grief is felt by young & old......it is important to allow those feelings out rather than to console or try to make them feel that the feelings aren't necessary. These feelings are important for our complete healing. I know the horrible deaths that are caused by war & the traumatic events surrounding them.

Make sure you are also proud of Michael, Mikey......for it was very honorable & he was serving a very important respected position, helping others in the medical role during the war & that he laid his life on the line to help his comrade. There is nothing fair in war.....no life lost in war is a good thing, but the being proud of the fact that he was willing to put his life on the line for what he believed in (otherwise he wouldn't have been there either since this is now a volunteer military).

It is important to be proud of him for what meant so much to him in his life even though we may not understand that.

Greif goes on for years....especially on the anniversary dates when our mind takes us back to when it happened.

Allow the grief to come & accept it as a necessary for you to handle thinking about what happened. You will be ok.....little Manda will be ok.....it takes time.....give yourselves the time.

Know that you are cared about here,
Debbie
