try to lower your intake of starches, sugars, and preservatives... When my son is at my house... he is caffiene, sugar, and preservatives free. it takes a day or two to get him calmed down but he really chills out by the end of the first day. just in time to send him back home to his mom where anything goes. <<<yes I sense the sarcasm there too. also.. when looking for work.. find something that will let you give yourself a chance to focus for 15-30 min every so often... Im a competitive Archer, rifle competitor, pretty much anything that involves shooting, throwing, or fling objects at a precise point. My son, ADD diagnosed since 8, is involved with the same hobbies.. and the hour or 2 after he has finished a round, is about as calm a person as you can ask for...I guess its the residual focus he puts on his shooting, dart throwing, what ever. Im no expert by any means.. just my 2 cents

I took the quiz, it says I have serious ADD. But I don't have insurance. My husband will go bonkers if we have to fork out that much money for meds. Basically it will either get medication or start saving money for school. It will be almost one or the other to him with that kind of money, especially if I have to get meds for my son as well. Thanks for all your help.
