(((((Kathie)))))... I've heard of the same thing happening around here from time to time, and it's a much smaller area. That bites. I know that sometimes, the meeting cards don't get updated, or the updated cards don't quite get into circulation like they should. My best advice is to see if there is a club house near, and go to meetings there... that way, you get to go to meetings, there is someone around most of the time. That way, you can hear what church meetings are out of comission, which ones are good, and maybe even some strong meetings, too. I know that when I was starting out on the clean and sober path, the clubs are what saved my ***. Also, is there a central office or something that you could call and tell them about your little experience yesterday, so they can look into this.
