..... I dont hear a concern about what has been going on, like thinking,/ questioning as you do.

Was there some kind of relational bargain going on in the dynamics of these relationships that wasnt actually as caring as it says on the packaging ?
Like the caring is as long as you comply, then thier 'investment' simply jumps ships?
