When you say you are not working, is that by choice or not? If it because of the economy, that is really tough. If it's for medical reasons, could you do part time? Having to get up and out of the house is good, and a job (as long as it's a good situation) can take you out of yourself.
I admire your self-discipline in doing all that housework. My mother is also a fantastic housekeeper and I just look in awe at what she does. I am a huge procrastinator and works expands to fill the available time.
I worked full time my whole life until the last 4 years. Now I volunteer one morning a week. I love but am exhausted after. Still can't really understand why I can't cross that line and be like I was before.
