Crew…
you rock!
No apologies necessary. Your willingness to facilitate a DD chat group is to be commended. In a live group, the leader has much more control and the ability to redirect inappropriate behaviours. An online group, by virtue of invisibility, is much more difficult to manage. It is my opinion that you are an excellent leader and you did a very good job at getting the group calmed, reassured and back on topic. Those present in the room who assisted in preventing escalation of the situation are to be commended.
you're a leader!
You do not need to ask for a second chance; you do need to ask those attending to respect one another, take personal conflicts elsewhere and follow the rules of good group conduct.
carpe diem!
I, for one, look forward to your next DD chat group and will be there to support you, as well as my fellow chatters. Let’s not let the distractions of Thursday’s group dissuade us from sharing with one another and, in so doing, moving forward in our recovery.
you're appreciated!
Sending warm island vibes your way…
because i care!
