I hear ya fuzzybear.. Setting healthy "boundries" and self care is so important to one's well being....

A healthy balance does not include always pleasing others. When we spend our lives pleasing others we somehow lose more of our self worth even tho ones that tends try to always please others, already have low self esteem...And pleasing others never builds our self esteem... We either become taken for granted, floor mats or many times just used...

Being a people pleaser all of my life and just starting to say no has cause several folks to vent their anger and some times rage towards me. This some times feels worse than taking the easy way out and saying yes. But, standing strong on our decisions can be self empowering, which in the long run is a "good thing"..
