Am I supposed to feel worse and worse every day? Thanks for all your thoughts, helps bring some comfort. 18 years old, the 6th student to die this year. Senior curse they say, someone always goes before graduation, why does it have to be the ones with everything?

The viewing is on Monday, the memorial service on Tuesday. Not sure if I'll go. I didn't get to go to the memorial after school yesterday.

My final exam for JROTC now is to write a letter. To school board members, the mayor, the Commanding General at Fort Hood (where I live), senators, representative, anyone that will listen to change the traffic on that road. With incoming soldiers and the base closures, we have tons of new people coming, and they're quickly throwing together communities, with no regard to traffic. There are 6 intersections, one after another, at a speed limit of 55. That's just asking for problems. She's not the first to go, how many more to make them see?

Our 1st Sgt. was broken up today reading the newspaper article written on her, front page news. He kept exclaiming "If they would do what they're supposed to, I'd still have a company commander, I'd still have a cadet, we'd still have our friend." I agree, something will be done.
