About alters going away for awhile, I know all about that. In fact before a few weeks ago, its been over a YEAR since I switched! Now, they are slowly coming back. Stupid stress! What's weird is that my trip was only starting on April 15th and ended on the 22nd (well actually very early on the 23rd like 1 AM or something) and it feels like I did that months ago! My sense of time is all distorted....everything seems so far away. Hope you find her soon. When mine went away for that period of time, I actually thought my DID was gone for good! In fact on another site I go to, I took DID off the diagnoses list (during that time, now of course it is back)! I never knew this is the normal course for DID (I don't know much about it, believe it or not!).
