On one of my software implementation projects, we actually had an hour long meeting/argument about whether to rename all of the product units of measure "each" or "piece" (they had both). Some people wanted to standardize, and others thought there was some significance between the two terms. I wanted to standardize, and at one point, I cracked myself up for the next 10 minutes by saying:
"All I'm saying is, give 'piece' a chance"

..most of them thought it was pretty funny, too.
