
It sounds like a very tough decision to make. I'm hoping you will see someone though. If you were "weeded out" of the program and you tend to agree that being a T wasn't what you should be...what of it? We all try things that don't work out. It doesn't make you a failure.
I think how you felt about the person when you were with them, how they spoke to you and about people would help you determine if you could maybe be helped by her, rather than the fact that she is the one who had to tell you about not being right for the profession (at the time.)
Therapists should not be discussing people among themselves unless it is in the therapeutic range (not personal gossip type talk.) You need to be sure whomever you see will keep confidence, and to find that out you can tell them at the beginning.
It isn't permanent is it? You can always try her as a therapist and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. So what? Then you still try another. But IDK what type of therapy you are trying that a session is soooo very long. It could be you need to try a different type of therapy.
