I had some breakthrough hypomania from taking codeine a while ago. (won't do that again)

I decided that I would be my whiny obnoxious hypomanic self to my NP until she gave up and adjusted my meds LOL.

We were going up on Lamictal anyway, so 900 mg of Lithium and 100 of Lamictal whacked down that drug induced hypomania right away. I had been on 600 of lithium and 50 of lamictal.

If the stabilizer isn't working, call your Pdoc in your manic phase all the time until they give up . Be sure not to overdo this, I always say that "one should not make angry a person who can Baker Act you". (sick twisted Bipolar humor).
