I went through something very similar too. We stayed friends, and I felt like he was waving his new relationship in my face. I actually exploded and asked him if he knew what he was doing to me, and he said no. We don't speak any more -- although I should add that this is a very good development for me, because I don't think I was able to move on while he was so present in my life.

I'm only 20 but I don't think that 32 is old at all, and you are far from the end of the road where your love life is concerned. I hope you don't think I'm being nosy, but are you in a circle of people around the same age as you? Dating younger men is probably fairly likely to elicit a negative response just because people do tend to want to stick to their own age brackets. I really hope that things start looking up for you. Don't give up hope!
