WOW I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you. I am glad, in one way, that they are so concerned for your safety, but as you said they truly didn't have enough info, and they seem to have the cart before the horse!

I don't know about what's considered ethical in the AU, but just because it's upset you so, something wasn't done right, now was it?
 You'll get through this. Please don't limit yourself to seeking help in the future because of these doctor's actions.
