I'm not a medical doctor, but I know what a doctor would tell you first to do: Sit or lie down and put your feet up! Also, limit the amount of salt you take in (read the labels) and drink plenty of water to help flush toxins away.
If you have heart disease though, you need to call your doctor. If you have heart disease (if your doctor has said so) then this could be a symptom of function and might result in blood clots... not good.
You say you won't go to doctor, but are you on a new medication? If so, you do need to call the doctor with the problem.
Sometimes feet and legs swell if you do alot of walking or exercise the day before or earlier that day, and aren't used to it. Put your feet up, drink lots of water and don't eat salty foods ...
