My son, the wandering musician, called from Japan last night. He is home sick and bored, but is going to stick out the 2 remaining months of his commitment to himself to stay that long.

He called from a McDonalds restaurant. They have phones there for customers to use that can call free anywhere in the world for 3 minutes. How odd.

He is doing well and making twice as much money as he needs and so able to even save some for his next adventure.

He is amazed and disappointed that he has not found whatever it was he was looking for.

I recall being the driven seeker. I still am, more or less, but somewhere along the way learned what I have to keep reminding myself...
