,
Thanks for the update...
I'm including this link and the info will let you know what you might experience.
It's in PDF format and pages 3 and 4 will give you some idea of what to expect after this happened to you.
Page 4 lists the possible effects you may have...two being fatigue and disorientation...neither has to be major in its' presentation. It may help you to be aware of the possibilities...
Mild is not really an apt description of the effects.
This is a lengthy report but worth at least reading the first few pages for reference.

I admire your honesty about wanting to be careful re treatment for mental health issues. It falls into a gray area and compromise may be necessary.
As long as you are honest about your concerns, staff members of inpatient facilities will work with you about them.
One of the things we did on our unit was to work out a signal for the client to use when they were reaching their limit about something...sounds simple but it was amazingly successful. It prevented many problems for staff and clients alike. My favorite one was a client who would "flip" us off...his way of telling us to back off/be alert because he was feeling threatened and therefore would react accordingly.
Many options are available to you, MO. It's a matter of finding the one that most closely meets your needs.
Please...still be alert for possible problems from the tree incident...from the report, you'll see that mild concussions can and do worsen mental health issues.
Best wishes,
Catherine
