It's kind of funny, actually. When I was a child, I was terrified of thunder storms. Now, I am in love with them. I love to stand out in the rain and feel the wind blowing across my face. I love to watch for the bolts of lightning, and then wait for the crack and roll of the thunder. For me it is energizing. I am also one that is fascinated by tornado's to a certain degree. I've never seen one, never had to run for cover, but I have thought about doing one of those tornado chasing vacation trips some day.
Don't get me wrong...I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a tornado, not knowing where it is or where it's going to show up. That sounds absolutely terrifying. But for some reason, I would feel more in control if I were watching from a distance with people who chase the storms.
I think that is a false sense of control though!! Tornado's are very unpredictable!!!
So, yay for mild to moderate thunderstorms, and nay to severe tornadic thunderstorms!!
