Hi Sophia,

I went of my meds without telling my doctor. My sertraline had stopped working after taking it for many years. Trying to save money I just stopped going to my pdoc or taking my sertraline. I ended up in a very bad place, deeply depressed and anxious. I felt very lonely and isolated. I've recently gone back to my pdoc, back on meds and am seeing my therapist again. I would suggest you do the same. Just making the decision to make the appointments gave me a bit of a lift.

Also keep in mind that sometimes it takes several trys at several different meds before you find one that works for you. You deserve to feel better. Take care of yourself.

I'd rather have a visit, note or pretty picture
than an "I'll say a prayer" or a "god bless you."
Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
Thanks for this!
