Yup, we've got the same kind of mother. Mine only remembers good stuff - usually concerning her and how good she's been to her children and everyone else. Her memories don't match my memories at all. I tried telling her about things I remembered, she told me I was mistaken, or lying or crazy. Just a word of caution if you plan on trying to tell her your reality, your memories of your childhood. Take care of yourself, you mother may never be able to do that for you.
