I've been having some, eh hem, womanly problems since October, but the cost of a physical and Pap has been out of the question. If there's anything seriously wrong I can't afford treatment anyway, so why find out what the problem really is, you know? But it's gotten to the point where I can't deal with it anymore.

Anyway, I called the county health department and I QUALIFY FOR THE WELL WOMAN PROGRAM!!! I thought I made too much money, but I don't. I don't know what I'll do if I need more tests or treatment, but I guess I'll worry about that when the time comes.

So, if anyone else out there has no insurance and thinks they can't get any assistance, call anyway. You might be surprised.
