(((Tishie))) You surely aren't in a good place right now are you? It's good that you realize this, and are trying to find the "cause" of those angry feelings.
First though, breathe! Big deep breath, hold a bit, slowly release...and again. Nothing is harming you right now, right this second you are reading this and everything is fine... rest, relax, breathe.
I doubt that it's any one thing, or any one incident, but things that have been building up over some time maybe? Wanting to hit someone shows you are really maxed. You may need some healthy physical activity to help your muscles relax (and not hit anyone.) If you can't get to a gym, or out for a bike ride or tennis game, go into the restroom or stairwell and jump up and down for a bit and swing your arms back and forth to work off that negative energy. The blood flow and oxygen flow to the brain will help you think through what's causing this anger.
