I just wanted to add about the deep breathing/relaxation exercises. When done regularly, they can have a preventive affect.
I listen to a relaxation CD from
www.wholeperson.com called "Warm and Heavy" (they are 2 exercises: Warm is one and Heavy is the other) every night when I get into bed as part of a routine. I also listen to them any time I want to because doing this makes me feel good.
