Cool Pat. Thanks for the info. I thought she said the visit was free too, but my head has been so discombobulated lately, I'm having a hard time remembering things, even important stuff.
Yeah, the mammogram is only included if there's a history of breast cancer of if you have suspicious symptoms. My doctor recommended one two years ago just because I was over 40 and he wanted a baseline. That's one thing I don't like about my doc. He fails to take into consideration my lack of insurance and my less than bottomless bank account. The other is that he thinks single women of "my age" are never at risk for anything because he assumes we don't date guys young enough to be at risk themselves. I guess he thinks when I was brave enough to date that I was only dating guys old enough to be my much older brother or something. And when I did demand a hepatitis test before I got serious with one guy, because I have a tattoo and a couple of piercings, his comment was "is this guy THAT much of a risk."

You'd think this doc was ancient, but he's barely in his 30s.
