we think abbi/jewels has good suggestion. i can see why you feel so upset and betrayed. it really would be good to see if you can get things postponed for a bit and insist that the T talk to the medical people so that things can go without a big meltdown. sometimes we need to make a push to be heard/helped so that things don't get all messed up. i don't know what kind of surgery is going to be done, but all surgery is a big deal and you need to be ok going in and get whatever help and support you need to feel safe. EVERYONE is scared of surgery and feels very nervous. good drs. and hospitals know this and try to help people feel more secure.

is any of your system good at talking to people and working things out?? could someone take on the job of trying to get support for the alts? i know how big this is and i hope they will reach out and help this to go ok. we care,
