i do the same things--the playing out certain events, talking outloud to myself or to other imaginary people (not hallucinations, just people i imagine) and i have those horrible thoughts, like killing my family members--it's not something i want to do or even think about...anyways, the doc's call these "intrusive thoughts" and it is common in schizophrenia.

My thoughts will also suddenly get very strange and off-topic sometimes, for example, the other day i suddenly for no reason started thinking about the kinds of equipment that fire fighters carry in their big fire trucks...it was weird. Sometimes it's like another voice is thinking things in my head and i dont control it...it's not my own inner voice.
