it;s somewhat "normal" but not when it is constant and uncontrollable.

I think everyone occasionally thinks about killing or hurting someone when they get really, really mad, or everyone might occasionally think "oh, what if i killed someone" but when your thinking constant, detailed thoughts about killing your family--people you love and would never want to hurt, and you cannot control it, it's not concidered "normal"
