Thanks all. Mom is doing much better. Her blood pressure is up and they don't need to intubate her. She's alert and speaking/answering questions. She does have some chest congestion they are watching, and the meds they are giving her to force her heart to pump better is being weaned off...which is good as it suppresses the kidneys.
She ate a little while I was there, but they are thinking of feeding her through a tube to boost her up faster.
This is a newer hospital and many in the area still don't know it's there...plus I suspect they released everyone they could for the holiday... but mom is in ICU and it still isn't full, so she is getting full attention... and wonderful care!
Unfortunately, she went in with MRSA. Don't know where she got it but I suspect it was from the regional hospital and that's why their own rehab center wouldn't take her.
Continue to pray that she will grow stronger and stronger. She's much much better than when she went into hospital last time, yet they are upset that the rehab center waited so long to send her in!!!
