Thanks to Christina86 for moving my post here....I didn't know where to go... but with friends like theses.....Thanks....
I just put my dog, Brandi, to sleep today....7:30pm May 23....She was 9 and was living with my mom since my dad died in 04. She was my dad's dog, and he loved her till his end....Then we loved her till... her end.
She was the most exuberant, energetic, yet loving dog I ever owned. If you know 'the boxer', she was it, as a breed. Read the standard and you will know her. And look into her eyes to know the rest........She had been sick for a couple of months...Diagnosis unknown at this point. Mostly degenerative neuropathy in the hindend due to spinal disk hernia or whatever. The end was liver and kidney failure and unknown infection due to ?
Me, my mom, and sister were there at the (injection end).........I didn't want to cry...but did...She passed quietly....So now I say Goodnight to her......and to you, my friends......Thanks..Davey
