I am wondering if I should visit the doctor about this or if it is ok to wait...

I have what may be a swollen spleen, it's a visible lump at the bottom of my left ribcage, on the front. I had kind of noticed it before but then I bought a new top the other day which is close-fitting and it made me think that I hadn't seen such a lump in other people. It is hard and I thought it was bone but I was talking with a friend online who suggested it might be a swollen spleen.

Also I have a visible pulse in my abdomen, in the centre, just above the navel. I don't think that is especially new either. I have also lost some weight recently so that might make it more noticeable.

I am abroad and while i do have health insurance here which can be claimed back, I am wondering if it would be easier to wait until I return home in over a month, when I could go to my GP and have any necessary tests etc.
