Just to be clear, the new mood tracker is not like the "choose a mood" drop-down box here in the forums. The mood tracker is meant primarily to help a person track their depression, bipolar or anxiety.
The pick a disorder is primary for noting if you're in a manic or depressed phase of bipolar disorder.
You're right in that the new mood tracker probably doesn't do a great job in differentiating between ADHD, caffeine-induced energy, and mania. We will enhance the explanation on display of results to note this limitation.
The Mood Tracker really starts to get interesting if you commit to doing it once per day or even just once per week. Viewing past scores shows you a nice trend that you can do something with if need be.
I appreciate that those of you who've tried other mood trackers online notice ours is different. I also looked at a bunch of them and was unhappy with their lack of really getting very in-depth with your mood, or expecting you to know what it was upfront. And then their display of your mood was also unsatisfactory to me. Hence the reason we developed this one from scratch and our existing mood measuring quizzes.
