as others have said, not just men lie, everyone lies. people lie to you about all kinds of things. it could be a simple white lie to keep a person from being upset, or it could be big huge lies like governments lying to their citizens. how upset you should be about the lie all depends on what it was about. lying about how much money was lost in a poker gamer, to use the previous example, would irritate me some, but not a big deal in the end. lying about infidelity or something similar, however, would be grounds for dissolution of the relationship. lies come big and small, some we should just learn to accept, but remember, dont let yourself be a doormat because people will also walk all over you. if something upsets you try to talk about it if that is an option.
