I know how difficult it is to act normal around other people. When my depression kicks in I get so stuck inside my own head I can't react to anything appropriately, which means I get distracted, forget what I'm talking about, always seem a beat behind in my conversations ... it's very frustrating and very annoying. Just try your best to get through work one hour at a time, then one day at a time, and try not to get too hung up on the difficulties -- be proud of the things you accomplish, like actually making it in to work!
As for the other stuff, sending you hugs while you figure it all out.

Bring on the wonder, we got it all wrong,
we pushed you down deep in our souls, so hang on.
Bring on the wonder, bring on the song,
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long.
