I like the idea of your pdoc and GP putting their heads together to pass off the scrips to GP before you leave pdoc's care.

Here is a page that tells about the Prescription Assistanc Program for low-income people. Many of the pharmaceutical companies have these programs. This page has all the phone numbers to call for each company's program, and the names of the meds covered:
