Today I received my offer of readmission into my university.

In November, I'm graduating with my first undergraduate degree in Psychology. (the actual credits for this degree will be finished by the end of August!!)

In September, I'm starting my second undergraduate degree in Religious Studies.

So my offer of readmission basically just says, congrats for coming back (fine print: we're now going to take even more of your money until you're completely and totally broke and we're very glad that you've decided to come back to give us this privilege to bleed you dry financially... )

ANYWAYS!

So I got accepted into my B.A. in Religious Studies.

With THIRD YEAR STANDING.

I haven't even started the degree, and they've already pronounced me a third year student! LOL!

I feel old. I mean, I've been in university since September 2004... I'm going to be the perpetual student who gives universities too much money...

I'm very happy that I get to come back (there wasn't a doubt that they wouldn't allow me back, really) ... but I'm still amused that I'll be 3rd year standing which means I'll likely have 2? more years (so... April 2011?) before I graduate with yet another completely pointless degree!!

I just need to do the 5 credits for "residency" which means I've got to take 5 completely pointless classes, just to prove that I'm in fact interested in getting my degree at my university. "Residency credits" are the most important for overseas students or those taking classes by correspondence ... it means that for at least 5 credits worth of time, you must be IN CLASS going to classes ON CAMPUS rather than by correspondence or over the internet.

I've always found that to be an interesting thing to do.

Anyways, I'm finally close to getting my stupidly expensive piece of paper, WOOT!!!
