I think the rhyme is like "I'm like rubber, you're like glue... everything negative or bad you say about me bounces of me and sticks onto you".

I never did like that rhyme... that's what your post reminded me of ((((((((Fuzzy))))))))))) whether we're on the same wavelength or not.

You cannot and will not be "always wrong". If an old opinion is hurting you or causing you pain or discomfort, perhaps it's time to reconsider whether or not the opinion has any place in your life?

Especially if an old opinion or negative comment comes from another person and it's something we've internalized - it doesn't make it true Fuzzy.
