Your friend sounds a lot like me
I have never been diagnosed as having
Aspergers.
My son however is diagnosed as having Aspergers
he has no social life to speak of
he has never had a friend stay over or for that
matter even for an hour or so
he gets anxiety attacks just to leave the house
He has however come a long way in terms of learning
and a lot of that is due to a special needs teacher
that he grew very fond of.
My son has never been ab**d in any way shape or form
We do have relatives on husband side that have Aspergers syndrome.
