(((((((((((((( nightowl2 )))))))

I am so very sad that you're husband doesn't quite have a grip on things concerning Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Has he EVER participated in ANY of your therapy after all this time....? If he starts making threats, talk to your T about him coming in for a session or two to see if he can explain things to him. Let him know that the events that happened to could can damage/rip-apart ANY average person's mind (psyche') as badly as a prisoner of war victim! Your mind is a prison...he has GOT to understand; either he has got to TRY to understand or else.........no, i was going to say more, but I think what I just stated is IT.

I have been in counseling since age 15 from Major depression disorder; eating disorders & PTSD (incest) a few years later from miscarriage after being raped by 2 men; then just rape; then physical abuse for years............I'm not trying to "one up you", I am just trying to explain that it's been almost 20 years since any other kinds of abuse.....and i'm still in therapy. PSTD is one of the emotional abuse that don't heal like from physical abuse... & the fact that you are still alive shows that you HAVE gotten better!( You are ASKING for help? Yes?) You posted in this forum didn;t you?

THAT IS PROGRESS!!!!! Would you have posted at the beginning of this "journey"? Think about it, hon....

In the meanwhile....try to get him to sit-in on a session and have your T give him a "progress report" It works!

I'd say "penny for your thoughts" but even "Lucy" in Charlie Brown cartoons charges a nickle (inflation sucks!) ((((((((hugs - if you want them )))))))DAYZEE9
