Today is the last day of the Dragon Boat Festival. I feel somewhat soupiness however. The Dragon Boat Festival was originated in QU Yuan who was a great patiotic poet. Qu Yuan had to jump into Miluo River to suicide when he was treated unjustly by Chu king and those dignitaries. Afterwards, kind-hearted people rowing dragon boats to rescue Qu Yuan , but they failed to save him in the end. So,people went back home and made a lot of rice dumplings to throw into river to feed fishes for the purpose of not letting fish eat Qu yuan. From then on, the Dragon boat festival came down. When the fifth day of the fifth lunar month comes annually, people will hold several activities to remember Qu Yuan including making rice dumplings, dragon boat racing and dringking hsiunghuang wine .
