Some people are "compulsive liars" and are exceptionally good (or exceptionally bad in other circumstances) about hiding the real truth behind things... it doesn't mean that you weren't paying attention... it just means you didn't know!

I don't think men lie any more than women do... I just think they have different ways of communicating about some things and sometimes it seems like lying when it isn't.
However, the examples you've just provided are BIG LIES. Yikes.
