Wow I forget to check in so I'm really glad I can view subscriptions and find old threads I've posted in. There were some questions asked that I never answered. Not sure I'll remember even though I just read through the last few posts haha.

WW, with the cane, I have a big roller ball on the end. Its about the size of a billiard ball. I sweep the cane back and forth in front of me, sweeping to the left when my right foot is frward, and vice versa. It doesn't really miss anything, at least not anything bad like steps and curbs and such. Sometimes if there's a small raise in concrete, the cane won't pick it up and I might trip, and it doesn't pick up speed bumps well yet. Eventually I'll go to a smaller ball. Its amazing the freedom it affords. I haven't done too much on my own with it. I'm usually with people. A cool thing yesterday tough, I was sitting at Walgreens waiting for a prescription. My friend went to see if it was ready and it was. Without even thinking, I stood up and made my way to her with the cane. I was pretty shocked at what I had just done lol. Its coming along quite nicely. Thursday, my teacher left me alone in an elevator and had me go up and back down alone. THAT freaked me out. I did not like it.

The computer basically reads everything on the screen. There are all sorts of short cut keys. One that I just learned is the link chooser menu. It just lists all the links on the page to cut out all the other stuff. Its helping a lot for navigating PC.

Yeah, I knew I'd forget the other questions haha. Someone had to go under blind fold, yeah a lot of my friends have tried closing their eyes and getting around. My friend told me yesterday that he broke a vase trying it haha.

I'm pretty brain dead right now so I can't remember the other questions. Canders, of course I remember you sweets. I'm going to try not to disappear again.
