Maybe you watered it too much and drowned it by accident? I always make sure to check and see if the soil is dry before I water.
I saw those little nifty glass ball do-dads on TV that you put in the pot and it apparently is supposed to perfectly water your plants...I wonder if it really works? If it did I don't think I'd buy them anyways. I take some joy out of watering plants and cutting of their dead leaves and such
